BAY & BASIN POLICE STATION

BGIS delivered the Bay and Basin Police Station in Sanctuary Point for the NSW Police Force in an astonishing 15 months between site acquisition to commissioning. “The modular construction method allowed the site works to be undertaken concurrently to the offsite fabrication of the 14 building sections,” said Simon Hammond, BGIS Managing Director, Projects & Workplace. The state-of-the-art facility features new audio-visual technology, briefing rooms, a secure victim support room and modern workspaces. The project was a strong collaboration between the NSW Police Force, the local command, the community and BGIS.
